President, Bill Flocco

Bill Flocco founded the American Academy of Reflexology in 1981. Former president of the International Council of Reflexologists, Bill, for more than 45 years, has taught the benefits of the Integrated Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology across four continents. His passion for teaching this powerful modality has found him in destinations as diverse as Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, England, Germany, Holland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and across America. A native of New Jersey, Bill called Puerto Rico home for many years and communicates well in Spanish. Bill Flocco’s ground breaking reflexology research was the first to be accepted and published in scientific medical journals. He loves teaching and spreading the many health benefits of reflexology around the world.

 

Vice President, Stefanie Sabounchian

Stefanie, born and raised in Germany, has over 20 years of experience as a Professional Certified Reflexologist. She is Past President of the Reflexology Association of California and Past Vice President of the Reflexology Association of America. For several years, Stefanie organized and coordinated World Reflexology Week Events in the greater Inland Empire and she is organizer and speaker of the 2013 Conference of the Reflexology Association of California. Stefanie has a full-time Reflexology practice in Southern California and teaches Foot Hand Ear Reflexology at several schools including the American Academy of Reflexology as well as internationally in Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Switzerland. She is fluent in English and German.

 

Treasurer, Tina Meyer

Tina Meyer is a National Board Certified Reflexologist and has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 1998.  She graduated from The American Academy of Reflexology in 2017 and has happily been practicing reflexology ever since. Tina has been an educator at a local massage school since 1998 and is currently serving as the Recording Secretary for the Reflexology Association of California.

 

 

Corresponding Secretary, Kathy Reynolds

Kathy graduated from the American Academy of Reflexology in 2005 and served on the board of the Reflexology Association of California from 2006 to 2010. She is a professional certified reflexologist with over eight years of experience who believes reflexology is a powerful and dynamic modality, and she continues to update her skills through classes and workshops. Her business, Integrated Reflexology, in La Verne and Murrieta, California, has been a welcomed asset to the community, while also serving the greater Inland Empire.

 

 

Recording Secretary, Sara Chameides

Sara, a Southern California native, is a Certified Reflexologist and Licensed Massage Therapist who has a private clientele. In addition, Sara is a makeup artist who has worked in the entertainment industry for over 19yrs. With a focus on holistic technique she is furthering her studies into Pilates and movement training.

 

 

 

Director, Paul Harvey

Paul has been practicing Reflexology for over 30 years. After 21 years as Reflexologist at the Whitaker Wellness Institute, that clinic has closed its doors. Paul is now at Harbor Medical Clinic in Irvine, CA. He served on the board of directors of the Reflexology Association of California (RAC) and remains on their advisory board. For more than five years, Paul has been teaching advanced technique classes at the American Academy of Reflexology in Los Angeles and elsewhere.

 

 

Director, Vicki Wise

Vicki, from New Zealand, is a Registered Nurse, Holistic Practitioner and Certified Reflexologist. She is an experienced event and private Reflexologist and the organizer of Holistic Practitioners LA. She leads community workshops in reflexology, stress management and guided imagery. Her languages are conversational French and Hindi.
